Thank you and congrats on your new JRNY-enabled fitness product! We’d like to take a moment and update your firmware to ensure you have the best experience. Below, we’ll walk you through the steps.

Follow steps to update your fitness product.
Step 1: Let’s create your account
We’ll get your basic JRNY membership set up on JRNY.com. This process is free and should only take a minute or two.
Create your account nowStep 2: Download the JRNY app
Download the JRNY app on your phone or tablet.
Once that is complete, open the app and log in using the credentials you created in Step 1. You will need to complete the New Profile setup before moving on to Step 3.
This process takes approximately 3-5 minutes.
Step 3: Getting connected
Next we need to connect your phone to your fitness product via Bluetooth.
With the JRNY app open, tap the Bluetooth icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Select your product to initiate the pairing process.
Step 4: Last step… firmware update
Now that you’ve connected your phone or tablet to your fitness product, you’re ready to begin the firmware update.
Follow the prompts within the JRNY app on your phone or tablet. You’ll want to make sure your phone is at least 50% charged or plugged in and within 10 feet (or 3 meters) of your product.
This process takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

Why should I update my product’s firmware?
By updating the firmware, you ensure that product has the most up-to-date technology, features, and functionality.
Will my Android or Apple tablets work?
The JRNY app and our fitness products are compatible with Apple devices on iOS 14.0 or greater and most Android devices with version 9.0 or greater.
Why won’t my mobile device pair with my fitness product?
Make sure you are pairing your mobile device within the JRNY app. With the JRNY app open, tap on the Bluetooth icon in the upper right corner of the app. Select your product to initiate the pairing process.
Will I have to go through this process again in the future?
While firmware updates are not frequent, any future firmware updates will follow this same process.
